Our unique property has accommodation for groups up to 40 people. Over the years, Laguna Lodge has hosted many families, friends, sporting, car, golfing and fishing groups to name a few. We have been blessed to have a majority of those same groups rebook for the same time each year. We have the best of both worlds, as groups can commune together on the deck, or find privacy in their own 2 bedroom self-contained unit. Here at Laguna Lodge, life is all about living around the water. Fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, swimming, jet skiing, boating, sailing or just relaxing by the waters edge with a beer and wine.
Laguna lodge offers a large river frontage with unobstructed views up the inlet to St. Georges basin. Our 6 uniquely designed 2 bedroom & self contained water front units all have modern facilities including a Air conditioning, microwave, oven & cooktop, electric frypan & colour television & DVD player. They wrap around the great large deck which flows onto the covered communal BBQ area which overlooks the tranquillity of the inlet and our private jetty & moorings.
Our 2 Luxury spacious 2 bedroom pool side units are fully equip with a stylish modern kitchen, including Air conditioning, oven,grill, microwave, full size fridge with an additional commercial bar fridge. Rooms with high raked ceilings contain a built in wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. The modern bathroom includes a toilet, vanity and large glass sliding door shower big enough for 2 to shower in. The open plan kitchen flows out into the dining and lounge room creating a relaxed yet social feel.
The bike track is directly out the front so you can take a stroll or ride your bike around the local area. We are within walking distance of the village with all town facilities, club, restaurants, picture theatre, grocery store.
Sussex Inlet also provides a 9 hole golf course, various Cafes, Brewery, Thai Restaurant, Tavern, Sports & Rec Club, Bowling Club & R.S.L. Club with a terrific variety of food including Chinese - Malaysian & good old Australian at very reasonable prices. Sussex Inlet also has a small picture theatre, supermarket, fashion shops, a surf shop, Ice Creamer, Craft Store, and is home to the famous Ocean and Earth factory store.
Our units are well suited to overseas visitors looking to get out of the hussell of the city & experience some of the cleanest rivers, best fishing & most beautiful untouched beaches Australia has to offer. We regularly service families, sporting groups, car clubs, golfing groups, fishing groups, trail riding groups, bush walking groups and the like.
You can choose to take a dip in our new solar heated pool or sit and relax! Whatever the case, there is always something to do or absolutely nothing to do here at Laguna Lodge......
Gaven and Tracy along with Bailey, Taj, Jordan & their dog Maggie made the sea change in 2013 to the island township of Sussex Inlet to embark on the unknown as new resident owners of Laguna Lodge holiday units.
Gaven was a builder and had his own business in Wollongong. Tracy his wife worked as a Teachers Aide in a local primary school.
Their 3 boys love their new home and their environment they live in. You will always see them around the grounds having fun swimming, playing footy or riding their bikes.
The family made a smooth transition into the Sussex Inlet lifestyle and into the business. They run their business as if it is an extension of their own home. They all work hard in creating a comfortable, clean and relaxing place for everyone to stay, and you will always see them working around the grounds, emptying bins and mowing lawns.
Th best thing about their new job is meeting all the guests who stay at Laguna Lodge and making life long friends with many!
